About these Washington DC Wedding Photos...

Lindsey and Miguel had an intimate wedding ceremony with just their closest family and friends in attendance. Their sunset wedding took place in an herb garden overlooking a lake outside of the restaurant where they planned to have a small reception for their family after their wedding ceremony.

The next evening Lindsey and Miguel met me at another lakeside park to take more photos. After those photos we headed over to a larger reception for their extended family and friends. This reception hall is not the easiest to photograph because of it's black ceiling and walls and because of the large mirrored wall along the dance floor. This is something I prepare for with every wedding to make sure that I can capture every moment with perfect lighting even if there is only decorative lighting which was the case at this reception.
