About these Florida Southern College Wedding Photos...
Alana and Jonathan were married in the Annie Pfeiffer Chapel at Florida Southern College. I was really excited about their wedding - I am a huge fan of mid-century modern architecture and many of the buildings (including the Annie Pfeiffer Chapel) were designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. After several days of rain, the skies cleared just in time for their first look before the ceremony. I was really worried - even as we pulled on campus it was still raining. But the weather turned out to be perfect!
Alana and Jonathan's ceremony was officiated by Lon Tosi and he included a ring pass which I had never seen before. The rings were in a ring bag and they were passed around as everyone gave them a silent blessing.
Alana and Jonathan had a brunch reception following the ceremony at Florida Southern College in the Eleanor Searle Drawing Room. Christy with Anna Christine Events did an amazing job - the details were awesome! I love mason jars and the flowers in the mason jars were so cute. I also didn't realize until after Alana and Jonathan told me that the cake was cheesecake! It looked like white cake as they cut it but later all of the guests were adding cherries and chocolate to their slices.
Later that evening Alana and Jonathan had a second reception at the Rosen Shingle Creek. We had another wedding that evening so we couldn't cover it but our friends Brandy and Beau with Brandy Burridge Photography photographed it.
