Nicole and John had a multi-day wedding. The first day was the smaller and more intimate American wedding and it was at the Grand Bohemian. Both Nicole and John got ready downtown at the Grand Bohemian. Then we set up a time before the ceremony for them to see each other in advance for a few photos.

John and Nicole are huge Orlando Magic fans and John surprised Nicole by having Stuff the Magic Dragon deliver her wedding day gift. It was so awesome knowing it was coming and watching Nicole's face light up through my camera! I was laughing and crying with her! Stuff is so full of personality - everyone loved having him in the room!

The wedding ceremony was on the pool deck at the Grand Bohemian. There is a large permanent white tent that you can have your ceremony under and if your group is small enough you can also have your wedding reception there under the tent. The whole area overlooks downtown Orlando (I think it is on the 6th floor) and the pool area is very modern and pretty.

The cocktail hour was downstairs in the bar area and towards the end of the cocktail hour we left the Grand Bohemian to walk over to the Amway arena. We walked along Church Street and under the Church Street bridge. We also took some photos underneath I-4 where they have blue lights that were recently added when the new Amway Arena opened. We had taken some photos of John and Nicole at the arena for their engagement session, too.

John and Nicole hopped on a pedicab to ride back to the Grand Bohemian and we headed back up to the pool deck for their rooftop reception.
