About these Rosalind Club Wedding Photos...Elizabeth and Kyle were married at the Rollins Chapel in Winter Park, Florida. Usually you have to be a graduate of Rollins to use the chapel but Elizabeth's family has a long history of marriages in the Rollins Chapel. Elizabeth's parents were married in the Rollins Chapel and so were her grandparents. She also has other family members that were married there including her great aunt and uncle, her mother's Godparents, two different sets of aunts and uncles and a cousin.
During the wedding ceremony at Rollins Chapel there were two esteemed vocalists: Mr. Davis Gaines (a cousin of the bride's mother) and Mrs. Delisa Dean (a family friend). Their voices were breathtaking and the Rollins Chapel has perfect acoustics.
Elizabeth wore a Paloma Blanca wedding gown and she had removable lace shoulders so the dress could be strapless for the reception. Elizabeth had a great pair of Jimmy Choo shoes and she had all of her bridesmaids write a note on the bottom of the shoes.
All of Elizabeth's flowers were done by Liz Stewart Floral Design in Jacksonville. The two large floral wreaths on the doors at the Rollins Chapel were my favorite and I also loved the flowers hanging from the ends of the pews.
Tracy Marini of Eventfully Yours coordinated the whole wedding and she was awesome! I had a few big events in a row and I started to lose my voice by the time I got to Elizabeth and Kyle's wedding. Tracy was awesome at helping me call names and get the group shots moving after the ceremony at Rollins.
The wedding party hopped on the Mount Dora Trolley at Rollins and headed downtown to the Rosalind Club for the reception.
There was a pianist for the dinner part of the reception but when the band Diggin' In Dreamland took the stage everyone was on the dance floor! Even after the wedding Elizabeth asked us what everyone did during the reception since it seemed like a blur. I told her everyone was on the dance floor! It was packed the entire night!
The food was catered by Arthur's and they had a southern theme going with delicious foods like shrimp and grits, catfish, smoked beef brisket and cornbread. They also had family recipe desserts - banana pudding and pecan pie! Then there was the gorgeous cake by Tasty Too.
At the end of the night Elizabeth and Kyle left thorough a swarm of bubbles provided by their guests and they got into a horse and carriage from Downtown Horse and Carriage.
Other great vendors for the day were Orlando Wedding and Party Rentals, Patricia LeJeune Hair and Makeup and A&R Video.
Chris and I were extra excited at this wedding because we had three brides and grooms there! Sandra and Jake (also in our gallery) got married in Cape San Blas and it was great to see them again! Then Lauren and Brian (they will be in our gallery after their wedding this fall) were there and it was great to see Lauren again and meet Brian!
