About these Sheraton Orlando North Wedding Photos...

Leonard and Elizabeth were married at Leu Gardens - the ceremony was supposed to be in the Rose Garden but the rain didn't stop and the ceremony had to be moved inside to the Lantern Room.

The Lantern Room at Leu Gardens is a great backup plan for rained out weddings - it has very large windows overlooking Lake Rowena. When we take photos of ceremonies there it looks like the background is fake!

After the ceremony in the Lantern Room we took a few photos of Leonard and Elizabeth on the covered front porch out of the rain. We used the limo driver's black umbrella for a few photos and then we headed to the reception at the Sheraton Orlando North.

The Sheraton in Maitland was recently renovated and it looks great! There is a large atrium in the middle of the hotel and then the ballrooms are behind the atrium. There is a large pre-function space where the cocktail hour was held before opening the doors to the ballroom.

Naomi Hinds was the coordinator and she did an excellent job.

Since Elizabeth is from Panama they had a traditional Panamanian dancer perform a Tamborito for them at the reception. She was so much fun to watch and all of the guests were cheering and clapping as she danced.

The rainy weather kept us from taking any garden photos at Leu Gardens so we met back up with Elizabeth and Leonard a few weeks after the wedding to take their formal wedding photos in the gardens. The rain date they picked was perfect - there were hardly any clouds in the sky! There were a few yellow trumpet trees still in bloom so we were sure to take photos with those as a backdrop. We even included a few photos with a fun umbrella even though it wasn't raining this time!
