About these University Club Wedding Photos...

Mary and Bart were married at the Knowles Chapel at Rollins College. I was really looking forward to their wedding - Mary and I had talked over the phone and we finally met in person about a month before their wedding. Mary surprised Bart with garters that had fly fishing lures on them (minus the hooks of course!) and also a boutonniere with another lure on it. Mary was wearing her great-grandmother's pearls (her great grandmother was also named Mary) and I love the series of photos I have with Mary's mom watching as she put them on. I also loved the program that Mary and Bart made for their ceremony - it had stories on when they first met and how Bart proposed. I enjoyed reading them! And Bart's grandfather performed the ceremony for them - he did such a great job and he even did a special post-ceremony for just Mary and Bart's vows.

Mary and Bart got ready at the Embassy Suites in downtown Orlando. Mary had a large double room for her and all of her bridesmaids and it was a perfect hotel to have right across the street from the University Club. So once the wedding reception was over guests could just walk over to their hotel room. After everyone was ready we headed up to Winter Park to Rollins College. The Knowles Chapel at Rollins College is awesome - it is so pretty and great to photograph. Part of the chapel was under construction so the girls did have to wait in a classroom building instead of in the back room at the Chapel.

The ceremony at Rollins Chapel was perfect and Bart's grandfather did such a great job with his part - I really liked the smaller ceremony they had after for just their vows since they didn't say their vows the first time. After we finished taking some photos at Rollins we were ready to head downtown to the University Club. But we still had a few minutes to get a few photos just for Mary.

Mary had some awesome ideas for a few posed photos after the ceremony at Rollins and I love how the photos of her by the door turned out. Her veil was blowing perfectly and the light was just streaming in through the doors! I love it when people give me ideas to try something new!

Mary and Bart had their reception at the University Club in downtown Orlando. We set up a photo booth for them and they brought all kinds of awesome props - pool floats, sunglasses, hula skirts, etc. And later in the night they had Coke Floats with ice cream! Yum! And the cupcake wedding cakes (two of them!) were so much fun with glass fish on top of them. We hadn't been to the University Club in years so I was looking forward to seeing it again. That is the crazy thing about Orlando - it is so big and it has so many wedding locations that I feel like we are rarely in the same place twice. And when we are it takes years to get us back there again! For example their getting ready location was the Embassy Suites downtown - we did a wedding there about 4 years ago and we still haven't been back! It is such a great location, too!
