About these Washington DC Wedding Photos...

Jessica and Robert were married at a local resort. Chris and I started taking pictures of them getting ready at their house in Bay Hill and I figured out they were Cowboy fans when I saw Jessica's garter sitting out with her jewelry and shoes. But it wasn't until Chris told me I had to come see how cute "Romo" was that I realized they were HUGE Cowboy fans! Romo was the most adorable Labrador Retriever - he was so mellow and happy! He was going to be a great ring bearer!

It had been raining in the morning and I was worried about the weather. But it turned out to be perfect - just a thin layer of clouds hung around for the ceremony and it was just enough to keep it nice and cool and not too bright. Jessica and Rob's ceremony was perfect and they included their daughters at the end, too. We took some fun photos of everyone and then finished up with just Jessica and Rob. We headed inside to the clock in the lobby of the resort and after a few photos there we had to stop - the sunset outside was amazing! But we were inside on the 2nd floor so we got a few shots by the window with the sunset. It was unreal! The sky was SO orange!

We then headed in to the reception and they had their first dance and some toasts. We did a quick cake cutting and then let everyone enjoy their dinner!
